is this a mask you took a picture of or is it an actuall lion, and if it is, how did you get soo close?, ey when you get a chance, check out my gallety, really appreciate it, thanks
Your pics look cool although unfortunately many of them are too dark to view on my monitor (it's a very old one and things come out darker than they should no matter what the brightness setting). Stupid monitor.
It's a real lion. I took the photo at a zoo with my camera right up against a thick pane of glass. He was pretty close on the other side but he didn't seem to find me very interesting.
I know, glass was the only option in this case though. In most of my others I was shooting through the holes in a wire fence or from a raised viewing platform.
I think eugenef has been very rude!! The clarity has not been effected by the glass in my opinion. This is an amazing photo. I just searched lion and spotted this piece I couldn't tell whether it was a photo or a painting (either way it's brilliant) so I was intrigued to find out. well done

This picture is truely breathtaking. The lion looks simply beautiful in it.

Sometimes its not that you think that your family is a odd, but that you know they are. Sometimes its not that you think that your friends are strange, but that you know everyone else is bland. And sometimes that doesn't even matter.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
